MEKONG DELTA 2 DAYS
(MY THO – BEN TRE – VINH LONG – CAN THO)
DAY 1: HO CHI MINH - MY THO-BEN TRE
- Visitors will be taken to My Tho wharf, the motorboat takes you on the Tien River, pass by floating fish farm villages, and the RACH MIEU bridge - a cable-stayed bridge spanning the Tien River and linking the two provinces of Tien Giang (My Tho) and Ben Tre together, and four islands: Long, Lan, Qui, Phung.
- Stop by Con Lan (Unicorn Island) to visit the local honey bee farm and taste the unique honey tea.
- After that, the electric cart will escort you to the fruit garden where you can try out the fresh tropical fruits (seasonal) and listen to traditional Southern music.
- Next, experience the taste of the Mekong Delta when sitting on a rowing boat, weaving into the small canal, watching rows of water coconuts, and the simple landscape of the Mekong Delta.
- Return to the big boat, along the Tien River, the motorboat will take you to the province of Ben Tre, which is known as the "Vietnamese coconut island" to visit the specialty of Ben Tre's coconut candy oven.
HAVE LUNCH AT THE LOCAL RESTAURANT
- Take a motorboat to the restaurant to have lunch with typical dishes of the Mekong Delta. Rest and bike around the village (optional)
- The motorboat takes you back to My Tho wharf. On the way back, visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, "the largest temple in Tien Giang".
- Drive to Vinh Long Homestay or Can Tho Hotel, and check in for your stay. Enjoy free time activities in the evening. Rest
DAY 2: CAN THO - CAI RANG FLOATING MARKET
- Get up early and have breakfast before taking a motorboat to Cai Rang Floating Market where colorful boats are carrying and selling fruits, vegetables, or even hot soup and cold coffee on the boats. Join and you will love these local activities
- Continue cruising along the river and get to a local village on an island. Take a walk through the magnificent scenery and get close to the residents as they go about their daily routines. Visit a flea market, a noodle factory, and tropical fruit gardens like papaya, mango, and pineapple...
- Have lunch at a local village. After that, take a moment of yourself to cycle (optional) around the village before heading back to Ho Chi Minh
